Howard is the Director of Corporate Occupier Real Estate Consultancy a company specialising in all aspects of corporate real estate. His work includes acquisitions; asset management; disposals; restructuring; litigation management on issues such as break clauses; and portfolio management strategies. A major focus of his work over the last twenty years has been in mitigating lease liabilities providing a range of services to corporate occupiers arising from surplus properties including IAS37 assessments.
He is a highly experienced commercial property consultant with more than 30 years’ professional experience in both management and consultancy roles, including professional experience at Hillier Parker; P&O Properties; Asda Property Holdings; Fraser CRE and GVA.
Howard is an Associate Tutor at The College of Estate Management, Reading, Associate Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and lectures at the CASS Business School in London. He is co-author with Simon Woodhead of ‘Corporate Occupiers’ Handbook’ and is the Editor of The Journal of Corporate Real Estate. He has written a number of articles for various journals, including Journal of Corporate Real Estate and The Estates Gazette. At GVA he was the author of the Corporate Real Estate Survey that was produced twice a year with the CBI and latterly Henley Business School.
CORE works with a number of partners in delivering solutions for clients. It provides a strong support function that deals with issues such as property insurance inspections, key management, interface with contractors and so on.
